Refund policy

All bookings are final and we do not refund or exchange tickets for a mistaken booking or change of mind. Refunds and exchanges will not be made for inadvertently booking the wrong session. Please check the session details carefully on each page of the booking process. The session date, time and film title are clearly stated.

Refunds will not be given for a cancellation or termination due to adverse weather conditions, but replacement tickets are offered. (See Weather for further details)

For full details of our refund policy please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

Each movie length varies. The movie runtime will be listed in each film’s description.

All movies are rated between G and MA. Ratings are advised on the film descriptions in the current program listing.

You would have received an email confirmation when you booked online. Patrons are required to check-in for the film 30 minutes before the film commences.

For example, if the film begins at 8.30pm, you will be required to check-in by 8pm.

The QV Outdoor Cinema holds up to 80 patrons at any one time.

Seating is General Admission, so it’s first in to grab the deck chair of your choice.

This year the cinema seating options include deck chairs and blow up seats.

If you are in a wheelchair, please see our cinema staff on arrival and they will assist you.

QV is an open air centre. We recommend patrons wear clothing layers or to bring a jacket in case the weather turns cool on a particular night.

This year blankets will be available to purchase on the night from the registration desk.

QV Outdoor Cinema is subject to weather conditions. Please refer to our terms and conditions for more information.

Headphones

Each patron is provided with a set of High Quality Stereo Wireless Headphones. Every headset is equipped with its own volume control dial so patrons can alter their volume to their liking.

The headphones can only be used with our equipment and are programmed to receive a UHF frequency from our transmitter located in the Cinema. Patrons are reminded to ensure they are on the correct channel (e.g. Blue) and that their volume control is turned up.

At the end of the film, patrons return the wireless headphones to the Cinema desk.

Please note that patrons are required to deposit a credit card in their name when checking-in for security purposes. Your credit card will be handed back once the headphones are returned to the Cinema desk. If you do not have a credit card, photo ID will be sufficient.

Feel free to eat chips, munch on loud food, laugh, cry and talk if you want – It won’t disturb others watching the movie with their headphones on.

Dog Friendly Venue

That’s right! QV cinema is a pooch friendly movie experience! We love your pups and are happy to have them join you for the screening. Please note the below:

• Pets must be brought in to the centre on a lead or in a cage.
• Owner must be responsible for their pet/s at all times.
• Owner must bring waste disposal bags to clean up after their pet if required. Please note that waste is prohibited from being placed in bins inside the centre.
• In the event that any animal exhibits aggressive behaviour, we will ask that they are removed from the precinct.

Screenings will be cancelled only if the weather poses a safety threat to patrons and staff. Screenings are cancelled based on the conditions on site. We try to cancel as early as possible, however as weather conditions are unpredictable, we may have to cancel close to or during the screening. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night and acknowledge that tickets will not be re-validated unless a screening is cancelled by QV Cinema.

In the event of a cancellation, ticket holders will receive an email to the email address provided at the time of booking. You will then be able to use your QV Cinema tickets to re-book for another session. Cancellation notices will also be posted on our social media channels.
